Rihanna’s vacation on the Benetti Latitude mega-yacht

The boat was hired by Rihanna, after the conclusion of her tours in the United Kingdom, which put her back on the top of musical charts once again. Her personal entrouge, along with her seemed to be soaking in every festive and luxurious comfort of the boat, apart from enjoying the Caribbean water without caring very much for onlookers. Facilities on board the yacht include 2 dressing rooms, and a spa which could cater to most whims and fancies of the passengers. Helping the cause is the accompanying staff of 15, who can cater to 12 guests with perfect ease. The main deck has the master suite which has its own studio and bathroom, completely sheltered in privacy from the rest. There are several spaces for dining including the formal dining room, and also a flamenco dining space. For recreation, there are facilities for sunbathing on the open spaces of the fly deck, and also rubber boats for indulging in water sporting activities. Hopefully for Rihanna’s male fans, she appeared in her swim suit on the deck soaking in the sun.

Lil' Wayne's "THA CARTER IV" Set To Debut At #1, Close To 1 Million In Sales

By Natalia V

Lil' Wayne hit the charts and Did It On 'Em with his latest LP, Tha Carter IV.  Not sure how he did it, since the buzz surrounding it was lackluster at best, but he's surpassing sales predictions and quickly approaching platinum status in its first week out.  Yet again.

According to HITS Daily Double, Lil' Wayne's Tha Carter IV disc is set to debut on Billboard's Hot 200 at #1, having sold between 925,000-975,000 copies already

Sales of the album far surpassed earlier predictions which hovered around the 850,000-900,000 range.  And with Labor Day music sales expected to fall in Weezy's favor, he could hit 1 million by Wednesday.

But even if he doesn't cross the million-dollar mark, Weezy still had the second biggest sales week of the year. He is topped only by Lady Gaga who sold 1.1 million units of Born This Way in one week.

Here's how others stacked up this week:

Lil Wayne (Cash Money/Universal Republic) 925-975k
Red Hot Chili Peppers (Warner Bros.) 215-240k
Adele (XL/Columbia) 125-150k
Jay Z & Kanye West (Roc-a-Fella/Roc Nation) 80-85k
David Guetta (Capitol/EMI) 45-50k
Jake Owen (RCA Nashville) 45-50k
Game (Interscope) 40-45k
Beyonce (Columbia) 35-40k

SAD NEWS: MOTOWN LEGEND NICK ASHFORD HAS DIED AT 70

By Natalia V

Nick Ashford, half of the legendary musical duo Ashford & Simpson, died Monday (August 22) in a New York City hospital. The Motown singer/songwriter had undergone radiation treatment for throat cancer and was 70 years old.

His former publicist and friend, Liz Rosenberg, broke the news to the Associated Press.

Perhaps best known for the 1984 single “Solid (As a Rock)” with his wife and partner, Valerie Simpson, the duo also wrote some of Motown’s biggest hits including “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” and “You’re All I Need to Get By”, not to mention a plethora of other hits including “I’m Every Woman”, “Ain’t Nothing Like the Real Thing” and more! The couple, who were married for 38 years, have two daughters.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

WTF! NEWS: Man finds $150,000 in garden

By Natalia V
As the old saw goes, money doesn't grow on trees. But sometimes it sprouts up in the garden. An unemployed man in northern Illinois was out working in his backyard when he came across some serious green: bags filled with $150,000 cash.

Wayne Sabaj was headed to pick some broccoli to go with his roast. The carpenter spotted duffel bags that looked like trash by the peppers -- but they turned out to be a cash crop: stacks of $20 bills that added up to about $150,000. The 49-year-old, who is living with his dad, did not exactly jump for joy.

The out-of-work carpenter told ABC7, "I could really use this money." But with this money comes trouble. He explained, "With my luck, it would be bank robbery and I'd get caught and say I'd robbed a bank."

So the honest man with money troubles alerted the police to his amazing backyard treasure.

For now, police haven't a clue to where the cash came from: There are no reported burglaries in the area, and no banks have been robbed.

Then there was the concern that whoever left the money behind would be back, and that's a problem the Sabaj men would rather have solved by the police.

If nobody comes forward to legitimately claim the cash, there may be a happy ending for the man tending his garden: Police will help figure out if Sabaj can keep the money. The carpenter has retained an attorney just in case.

For now, the cash is in custody with the country sheriff, who left behind a card on the lawn where Sabaj found the bags, bearing the simple message, Please call.

By Natalia V

Behind Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady, Hov and Bey come in as the second highest-paid celebrity couple for this year’s Forbes top earning list, but numero uno musically with a combined total of $72 million.

From May 2010 to May 2011, the misses racked in $32 million mostly from endorsement deals from Dereon to L’Oreal, while her hubby’s earnings stem from his 2008 $150 million Live Nation deal, 40/40 chains and his partial ownership of the New Jersey Nets.

Access’ expertise at creating luxury jets is well known and hence to forward it even more, they have launched their premium jet customization unit, called ‘Access custom jets’, which will cater to an elite segment looking to personalize their flying machines. We all are aware of the demand for personalization when it comes to the uber-rich, which we showed in detail in Soulja Boy’s recent purchase of a $55 million private flyer and Donald Trump’s $100 million private Boeing 757, which was completely redone according to the customer’s style and taste, further accentuating their aura.

As we said, these planes will be customized as what the customer really is looking for. Personalization options of the interiors would thus include fabric color selection and texture options, individualistic lights and electronic equipment apart from the general amenities which might catch the customer fancy, which includes built-in roll cages of carbon fiber, TV sets, DVD players, unique lighting equipment, high-end audio systems such as Bose and even a refrigerator to store food and beverages. The notable advantages for this are the overall lighter body weight for carbon fiber, insurance flexibilities and advanced avionics which would make the ride in the sky comfortable, and live up to the expectations of the owner. Access will have default features in their planes which would include flying heights of 28,000 feet, engine capabilities such as top speed of 420 knots and cruising at 380 knots, and the extended fuel tank for an uninterrupted journey.

Looking at the rate of which the demand is increasing, Access Custom jets will sure have a busy time ahead from the likes of pop stars and business tycoons.
